Side Quests

Bloody Emblem

During an Area Investigation, send a unit led by a male character with Chaotic alignment (excluding Troi) to Elgorea and enter the stronghold. An eligible unit leader will meet Lestat, a vampire, and be asked a series of four questions. If you answer the four questions correctly, you will receive a Bloody Emblem.

The correct answers to the four questions change based on the time of day you enter the stronghold.

You can repeat this process with other qualifying unit leaders to earn more Bloody Emblems, but each character can only earn one.

The Bloody Emblem is one of two pieces of equipment needed to unlock the Vampire class.

Dragoon Equipment

During an Area Investigation, enter the Idorf stronghold to learn about the armor needed for the Dragoon class. You must visit Idorf to begin this quest.

• Go to Burgunny in Gunther Piedmont to continue the quest for the Dragon Helm.
• Go to Kynora in Mount Ithaca to continue the quest for the Dragon Armor.

After you have completed Scene 18: Wentinus and have obtained both the Dragon Helm and the Dragon Armor, return to Idorf again to learn about the weapon needed for the Dragoon class.

• Go to Elaine in Fair Heights to continue the quest for Sword of Tiamat.

Hallowed Shield

During an Area Investigation, send a unit that contains Troi to Elgorea and enter the stronghold. Troi will meet his mom, and she will give you the Hallowed Shield.
