Starting Army Bonus Items and Stats

Your starting army determines the classes available to you from the start, but your choices also affect your stats and the inventory you begin the game with.

Starting Item Inventory

Your starting item inventory is determined by the first three units in your starting army (the fourth unit has no effect on the item inventory). Each unit grants extra equipment for that unit’s role (warrior, magic, healer, or trainer).

In most cases, you are granted an extra set of equipment for whichever class is leading the unit, but there are two exceptions.

  1. The first unit always grants additional equipment for advanced classes.
  2. The Valkyrie unit grants a set of Cleric equipment. This is likely because the Valkyrie unit is classified as a “healer” type unit for the starting army.
